The Ethelbert Chapter 82 which meets just a short stroll away from the Canterbury Cathedral and next to the Kent Museum of Freemasonry, held its Enthronement meeting recently.
The masonic temple is most impressive and for those who haven’t seen it yet please view some of the photographs which captures its grandeur.
The meeting was very well attended with many visitors and guests to witness an excellent enthronement ceremony of the new Most Wise Sovereign, E&P Bro. Robert Goodwin 18° which was performed by the outgoing MWS E&P Bro. Milan Antonijevic 18° . The meeting was a pleasure to witness with the DC III. Bro. Bob Merritt 31° adding his usual touch for the enjoyment of all.
At the festive Board there was a surprise, an announcement was made by III. Bro. Charles Pottle 31°, Chairman of the Association of Patrons (AoP), which promotes and supports the Kent Museum of Freemasonry. The AoP hold an annual Prize Draw for all registered Patrons, and guess who won first prize ? You’ve guessed it – Ethelbert Chapter ! This obviously went down very well with all the members who were then issued with a number and a further draw was made to determine which lucky members could claim one of the many prizes on offer.
You went away from this meeting certainly knowing that you had experienced Excellent Ritual. Enjoyed Good Food and Wonderful Company.
