You don’t often see Three Thirty Threes together, certainly not in Kent but I was extremely lucky and rather fortunate to share the company of this trio of Thirty Threes at a recent meeting of the Kent Chapter Rose Croix No 1071 at Wrotham, Kent.
For those of you who are not sure who they are I will start from left to right……
V III Bro Mark Eyles Thomas 33°, Inspector General of West Kent. V III Bro Graham Higgs 33°, the previous Inspector General for West Kent 2014 – 2024, and V III Bro Roger Waltham 33°, our very own Inspector General for East Kent.
You might wonder what brought this very distinguished trio together? As I mentioned earlier, they were all at the recent meeting of Kent Chapter 1071 and this is a rather unique Chapter. It meets twice a year and was formed essentially as a forum for brethren holding the rank of 30° and above to share news from across the whole of Kent. Formally based at the Wrotham Masonic Centre until July 2002, when Kent was divided into two Districts, East and West. It was then decided that the Chapter would hold its second meeting of the year at Whitstable. As such the Inspector Generals for both East and West Kent are members, may hold office, share news and promote fraternal harmony across both Districts.
