The members of Ethelbert Chapter, which meets next to the Kent Museum of Freemasonry in Canterbury, were delighted to welcome our new District Recorder, Ill. Bro. Trevor Youens 31°, to their February meeting. This was Trevor’s first visit to the Chapter and he, along with a good number of guests and visitors, received a very warm welcome. Those that had not attended before found the masonic temple truly impressive and makes a visit highly recommended.
All present were treated to a wonderfully performed double Perfection ceremony for Bro Jason Wright and Bro Mark Darley by the Most Wise Sovereign, E&P Bro. Kevin Maddy 18° and the Officers of the Chapter. The whole evening was expertly directed by the DC, III. Bro. Bob Merritt 31°, adding his personal touch for the enjoyment of all.
At the dinner afterwards both the newly made Princes expressed how much they had enjoyed experience as enlightening, colourful, personal and will remain with them for the rest of their lives.
At the end of the evening those present could all say that they been witness to excellent ritual, a wonderful meal, shared in great company. Another double anyone ?
