The Hoo Peninsula Chapter Rose Croix No 1215 is the latest Chapter in the District of East Kent to have the honour of holding the “Roger Waltham” Travelling Rose.
The Rose had been in the safe keeping of Swale Chapter since June this year and now, per the intended tradition, a good number had travelled from Sittingbourne to support and see the it successfully passed on to the new recipients.
It was therefore very fitting that our Inspector General, V. Ill. Bro Roger Waltham 33° was in attendance to witness the occasion and enjoy the company of so many good friends.
The evening was also a very special occasion for Bro Gordon Eliot who was duly perfected into the Antient & Accepted Rite and the Hoo Peninsula Chapter in particular, in a most excellent manner. E&P Bro. Gordon Eliot 18° said that he “will remember this day forever”. A sentiment we all share !
