Membership
Qualifications for membership
The Supreme Council for England and Wales decrees that any Brother who has been a Master Mason within the United Grand Lodge of England for at least 6 months and who is willing to join the Order by means of a degree based on the life and teachings of Jesus of Nazareth is eligible for membership.
Why Join?
The Ancient and Accepted Rite for England and Wales and its Districts and Chapters Overseas, more usually known as ‘Rose Croix’, is a Masonic Order that very successfully encourages a clear consistency with the teachings and tenets of Christianity and other Faiths, most especially the love of one’s fellow man and the leading of one’s life in a good and caring manner.
The Order absorbs, nurtures and encourages the adoption of those words found in the Christian commandment “to love one another”, which it describes as the result and perfection of what is taught and encouraged throughout the Fraternity.
It is a beautiful Order in all respects: the ritual, gentle friendship, fellowship, love, integrity, care and affection.
How to Apply
If you think you might like to join a Rose Croix Chapter in East Kent and already know someone who is a member, simply ask them about membership, they will be delighted to assist you.
However if you are new to the area or wish to join a Chapter in another part of the District, a good first step is to contact our District Recorder, who will gladly guide you through
the necessary steps.
Either way, we look forward to hearing from you and to hopefully welcoming you as a member.
