A very happy occasion at the Enthronement meeting of the Hubert De Burgh Chapter 103, where E&P Bro David Pearson 18° was most ably enthroned as the new Most Wise Sovereign by his predecessor, Ill. Bro Edward Wright 30°.
A number of visitors joined the members of Hubert De Burgh Chapter in enjoying a most convivial atmosphere during the meeting which was, unsurprisingly, continued at the dinner afterwards. After many years as a member of the Chapter it was a great pleasure to see E&P Bro David enthroned for the first time as MWS. The Address to the Sovereign was delivered by Ill. Bro Edward Wright and the Address to the Princes was delivered by Ill. Bro David Alexander 32°. All in an excellent manner.
But, there seemed to be a mystery guest, who was a little shy of the camera afterwards ! Who could this be ?
None other than our Inspector General for East Kent, V.Ill. Bro Roger Waltham 33°, who was received with great warmth by all those present at the meeting. As well as congratulating the new MWS, V.Ill. Bro Roger also presented a Supreme Council Certificate to E&P Bro Matt Buddle 18° and conveyed his personal appreciation of the many meaningful aspects of the Antient & Accepted Rite.
The next meeting of Hubert De Burgh will see another bumper attendance as the Chapter will Perfect another Brother into Rose Croix and the Inspector General will present a 40 years service certificate to Ill.Bro David Gavin 32°. More news to follow !
