The East Kent District Sovereigns Chapter, Sitis Pro Scientia 1213, is open to all present and past Most Wise Sovereigns. The Chapter name, Sitis Pro Scientia, translates to a “Thirst for Knowledge” and was formed for all those who are inquisitive and wish to know more about the Order.
On Thursday 16th June in a unique venture witnessed by the Present and Past Inspectors General, V. Ill. Bros. Roger Waltham and Tony Denne, the Chapter joined forces with the Hubert de Burgh Chapter 103 to hold a coterminous meeting, the purpose of which was to conduct a double Perfection for two candidates destined to be members of the Hubert de Burgh Chapter.

Judging by the comments shared on the evening, the meeting was considered to be a huge success in which the candidates, Ian Gilmour and James Burchell, were treated to a superb ceremony of Perfection conducted by members of the Sitis Pro Scientia Chapter.

The acting Officers taking part were as follows:
The Intermediate Degrees were conferred by Ill. Bro. David Gavin & The First Point was conducted by Ill. Bro. Trevor Youens, with Ill. Bro. David Alexander acting as Marshal.
The Second Point was conducted by the Ill. Bro. Richard Alldridge, with Ill. Bro. Charles Pottle acting as Raphael. The explanation of the Collar and Jewel and the communication of the signs and words of the Degree was undertaken by Ill. Bro, Malcolm Smith.

In his address to the Princes at the Festive Board, the Inspector General, V. Ill. Bro. Roger Waltham congratulated both Chapters on the magnificent outcome of their collaborative efforts. In welcoming the new Princes to our beautiful Order, he felt sure that the experience of such a superb ceremony of Perfection would make a lasting and favourable impression on their minds.
A most wonderful evening all round.
